Fresh Fruit Tart - No Added Sugar Challenge

Would you believe me if I said I can make a delicious fresh fruit tart without any added sugar? This fresh fruit tart is beautiful and SO delicious, it’s perfect for your family gatherings or dinner parties. Did I mention it only takes 10 minutes to make it?
No-Bake Fruit Tart (from my second book The Alkaline Diet Cookbook)
Serves 8 / Prep time: 10 minutes
Kitchen Tools You Need:
- Food processor
- 9-inch springform baking pan or 10 inch dinner plate
- Small kitchen knife
- Cake stand (optional)
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup unsalted almonds
⅛ teaspoon Kosher salt (or Maldon sea salt)
10 pitted Medjool dates
1 teaspoon avocado or coconut oil
3 cups fresh berries, washed and dried
1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut (optional)
Instructions:
Put the almonds and salt in a food processor and pulse until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
Add the Medjool dates until the mixture is uniform and starts to form a dough.
Lightly grease the bottom of the pan or plate.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a pan or plate.
Line the fresh berries on top.
Sprinkle with shredded coconut to finish.
Make Ahead: This tart can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
Ingredient Tip: Instead of berries, you can use other seasonal fruits of your choice.
